Our breeding program
Rose Cottage Standard Poodles is a small, home-based breeding program. We breed one litter a year at most, prioritizing health, structure, temperament, and top-quality bloodlines.
Our puppies are raised to become beautiful companion dogs, performance prospects, and breed prospects. We show our own dogs in both conformation and obedience. Our most recent litter produced both a Grand Champion and a Bronze Grand Champion.
All puppies are raised in our home with one-on-one attention, socialization, music, mental stimulation, and a healthy diet. Each puppy goes home with a personal health record and age-appropriate vaccinations. Our breeding dogs are health tested to OFA standards and beyond.
When you take your poodle home, we remain available for the dog's lifetime. We love each puppy that leaves Rose Cottage for a forever family.
We are entirely devoted to this highly intelligent, biddable, versatile, and elegant breed. We are committed to responsible stewardship, purposeful breeding practices, and producing extraordinary Standard Poodles.

Paris always has her tail up. She is beautiful, smart, healthy, active, and loving. Paris has completed Family Dog 1 through 4 Agility, Trick Dog, and Stunt Dog. I am grateful to Leslie for raising such a wonderful dog.
For the past four years, Trinity has been such a wonderful part of our family. She is loyal, incredibly smart, healthy, and brings us so much joy every day.
Working with Leslie was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Leslie has truly become like family, and I always know she is there if I have a question or simply want to share an update about Trinity. That lifelong support speaks volumes about the love and dedication she has for every puppy.
We couldn't be happier with our sweetheart, Eissie. Not only is she beautiful, but more importantly she is an absolute sweetheart. She loves everyone and has brought so much joy to our home.
As our third Standard Poodle, she had some big paws to fill and has done so wonderfully. She has completely won our hearts with her loving dogonality. We are so lucky to have her.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have Mozart and Magnolia, our beautiful brother-and-sister littermates from Rose Cottage Standard Poodles. They have truly blessed our lives, and we simply cannot imagine our family without them.
Mozart and Magnolia are not only gorgeous dogs with impeccable bloodlines, but their temperaments are extraordinary. They are incredibly loving, affectionate and intelligent, and they are wonderful with our grandchildren and other dogs. Even our little Maltipoo, Queen Bean, has happily accepted them as part of her pack, and the three of them absolutely love each other. They each have their own wonderful personality, yet both Mozart and Magnolia have that exceptionally loving nature that makes them such special family companions.
From the beginning, Leslie's care and professionalism impressed us. When we brought Mozart and Magnolia to our veterinarian, she was so impressed by the thoroughness of the records Leslie provided that she told us, “I wish all breeders would give people these kinds of records.” That spoke volumes about the care and attention Leslie puts into her dogs and her breeding program.
Leslie's support didn't end when we brought our puppies home. Whenever I needed advice, she was there to help, and I have always appreciated knowing that I could reach out to her.
Mozart and Magnolia have brought more love, laughter and happiness into our home than we ever could have imagined. We absolutely adore them and feel so lucky to be their family.
We love our Babu and are so happy to have him in our family. What was really important to us was that he gets along with our other dog. There has never been any problems.
When we first got Babu, our other dog was very protective of him. To some extent that still exists. Babu is very playful and looks forward to playing fetch. I usually do this first thing in the morning and Babu is ready for the challenge. The other favorite activity is meeting up with other poodles. We take him to as many of these events that’s feasible for us. He enjoys the chase.
I’m particular happy that he’s an affectionate dog always ready to kiss us and our immediate family. He’s very smart and knows routines. He also hears my son’s voice on the phone and goes crazy. He remembers things and is always ready to know what arrives in the mail.
Everyday I think of Leslie and am grateful for this blessing she has given this family. We love Babu and am so happy that he’s a healthy boy and he keeps us healthy because we have him to love and because he enjoys his walks.
This is Mirabelle, a litter mate of Sedona. Mirabelle is the love of my life!! She is such a special dog. She is so smart, she can open every door in my house. She is sensitive to my feelings and wants to cuddle to take care of me. She is silly and does goofy things that make me laugh. My life would not have been complete without her.
When I first was introduced to Rose Cottage, I was deeply mourning my first standard poodle. Leslie was help and kind in placing me with the right puppy. I will be forever grateful for finding my Mirabelle. Even after taking my puppy home, I’ve stayed in contact with Leslie for advice and guidance. Leslie has been a trusted friend and daily god mother for all things poodle. Thank you!!!
